Kanda is a quoting and invoicing tool that lets you offer your customers different types of finance.

In order to offer finance with Kanda, you need to send your customer a quote using our quoting tool. First, you'll need to complete some onboarding steps which you can read about here.

Once you have onboarded, here is how to send a quote with finance options enabled

Step 1: Click new quote on your dashboard.

Step 2: Choose the type of installation you are doing

Step 3: Based on the type of installation you select, you'll be shown the types of finance you can offer for your quote

FYI: Right now, only Electricians, Gas Engineers, Kitchen Fitters, and Floor Layers are able to offer interest-free finance. More trades are coming soon.

Step 4: Now it's time to build your quote. If you haven't used a quoting tool before, here is a quick video that walks you through Kanda's.

Step 5: Choose which customer to send your quote to (or create a new customer if you haven't added any yet), then click send!

That's all you need to do. Here is what happens next:

  1. We'll send your quote in an email to your customer.
  2. When they receive the quote, they'll first be asked if they are happy with the quote.
  3. If they are, we'll give the customer an option to apply for finance. If you have multiple finance options, then your customer will be able to choose which option suits them.

Finally, once your customer has applied for finance, we track their application with the lender and let you know when they get a decision, so you can start the work.
